The Building
This national monument is a 19th-century hospital designed by J.H. Leliman for the Vereeniging voor Ziekenverpleging (Society for Nursing) and was ultramodern for its time with heating and lighting. It was a hospital for the well-to-do. Later, the top floor was set up as a separate operating room.

Outdoor space
Members of Fosbury and Sons can use the beautifully landscaped, cozy and spacious courtyard garden.

The area
The nearby Leidsestraat has a large and diverse selection of stores and restaurants.
Restaurant Buffet by Odette comes highly recommended and for the tastiest apple pie (and coffee), Back to Black is the place to be.

Accessibility
Prinsengracht 769 is easily accessible by streetcar 2, 11 and 12.

Parking
Parking is available on the public road or in the nearby Prins en Keizer parking garage, rates are €3 per 30 minutes or €55 for a full day.
