The roof structure of Het Slotervaart will be officially completed in early 2025. Located on the 11th and 12th floors, this roof structure will serve as office space for healthcare professionals and social organizations. The office spaces range from 750 m² to 6,000 m² GFA (including shared common areas).
Het Slotervaart is the place where healthcare and people come together. More than 50 healthcare professionals and social organizations now come together under one roof here. Het Slotervaart offers a diversity of facilities, functions, and services in a versatile building. In the summer of 2025, three catering establishments, an attractive Douwe Egberts coffee café, and a modern gym will open on the ground floor. Het Slotervaart is a meeting place where care, work, living, learning, relaxation, and socializing come together. The surrounding area has been designed as an accessible, open urban space that focuses on people's needs. In addition, beautiful park-like (indoor) gardens have been created, contributing to a pleasant environment for users, visitors, and residents alike.

The 11th and 12th floors each consist of four wings. The wings on the 11th floor each have a floor area of approximately 760 m², including a share of the common area, and have their own balcony with a fantastic view over Amsterdam. The wings on the 12th floor each have a floor area of approximately 750 m², including a share of the common area. In total, approximately 6,000 m² of office space is available.
The Slotervaart is located in the Schinkelkwartier, in the De Plantijn subarea. Over the next 15 years, the De Plantijn innovation district will develop into an inviting urban neighborhood with a mix of functions where everyone feels at home. Since 2021, there has been collaboration with other parties in De Plantijn, namely Sanquin, Cordaan, and the Antoni van Leeuwenhoek Hospital, as well as with the municipality of Amsterdam, to further shape the joint plans. By opting for a longer term, parties can respond to the needs they see in the market.
The (re)development focuses on a total of approximately 450,000 m² of gross floor area for working, living, and amenities. That is double the current program. Nieuw-West is an active area, with more than 5,000 people currently working in the De Plantijn neighborhood. That number will increase significantly with the proposed developments. This means that there will be a lot of activity during the day, but there will also be a need for evening activities. Facilities such as restaurants, homes, laboratories, and a supermarket will certainly be added in the coming years.
In short, the De Plantijn area development will be a new neighborhood for everyone.

These stops have good connections to the Heemstedestraat metro station or Lelylaan station. From here, you can travel to the center of Amsterdam or Schiphol Airport within 10 minutes.
