Dapperstraat 32 B
De Drie Dappertjes
A fresh, light, shell retail space is available for rent on the corner of Dapperstraat and Commelinstraat. The shop is located directly on the Dappermarkt in Amsterdam East and is part of the De Drie Dappertjes residential/commercial building.
The open space covers approximately 66 m² VVO and has a wide glass front with a length of over nine meters on one side and a length of over six meters on the other side. There is a clear height of approximately three meters and a large sliding door. Thanks to the large glass surface, there is a lot of natural light in the space.
The shop is ideal for small-scale retailers who value a visible location in a central part of Amsterdam. Catering is not permitted.
Building
The retail space is located on the ground floor of one of the three residential/commercial buildings known as 'De Drie Dappertjes'. These three buildings are located a stone's throw from each other around Dapperstraat. Architect Hans van Heeswijk designed the corner building, of which the retail space is a part. The building features metal facade panels bearing the famous verse by J.C. Bloem: 'Simply happy, in Dapperstraat'. The buildings have been given this nickname because of their bold architecture, which differs greatly from the surroundings but does not contrast with them in an unattractive way.
Neighborhood + hotspots
The retail space is located on Dapperstraat, a lively street with – in addition to the famous Dappermarkt (6 days a week) – a wide range of shops, restaurants, and amenities in Amsterdam East. The nearby Linnaeusstraat offers several popular restaurants and cafés, such as Louie Louie, the Biertuin, and Café Kuijper. Artis, the Tropenmuseum, and the Oosterpark are also nearby.
Accessibility
Accessibility by public transport is good. Muiderpoort Station is within walking distance, as are various stops for tram lines 1, 3, 7, 14, and 19. Dapperstraat is also easily accessible by car via the A10 ring road (exits S-112 to S-114) and from Amsterdam-Noord via the IJtunnel.
Parking
Parking is available on public roads via a payment or permit system. Information about conditions and options for obtaining a (business) permit and any waiting times can be requested from the municipality of Amsterdam.
Lease term
Five years with a one-time extension period of five years. After that, it will be continued for an indefinite period.
