Biomass boiler

A biomass boiler burns wood chips, logs, or wood pellets, which are collectively referred to as biomass. A biomass boiler replaces a high-efficiency gas boiler, resulting in lower CO2 emissions. However, there are three requirements that a home must meet in order to determine whether a biomass boiler is suitable for your home. Additional information about heating costs and a number of tips about biomass boilers can be found here. Read here to find out if you are eligible for subsidies.

Pallet stove

Even heating your home can be done in a sustainable way. This is possible because your home is heated with wood pellets instead of natural gas. Pellets are wood granules, and a single pellet stove heats approximately one room. Unlike a central heating boiler, a heat pump uses outside air, groundwater, or the earth as a heat source. There are both advantages and disadvantages to a heat pump, which you can here here.

Heat pumps reduce CO2 emissions by 50%. There are different types of heat pumps, which also vary in price. Although it is difficult to calculate the prices of heat pumps, there is an indication . Further clear and comprehensive information about heat pumps can be found here here.
